This program offers job seeking and training opportunities, adult education, and other supportive services that will improve your ability to gain paid employment.
Case Managers are the key to helping you get Employment and Training Program services:
- Tests and other tools to better understand your strengths, skills and knowledge.
- Assistance finding a job that matches your skills and strengths, including special skills or unique needs.
- Help using the Alaska Job Center resource room to develop your computer skills, prepare a resume and search for a job using the Internet.
- Help with transportation costs and other items you need to get a job.
- Refer you to Job Readiness workshops to learn how to conduct a successful job search.
- Help setting an employment goal that matches your strengths, skills, interests, needs, and local employment opportunities.
- Refer you to other agencies for Adult Basic Education or other training and services you need to find the job that is right for you.
